At Pack and Save  Moving Company we strive to give our neighbors a stress-free moving day.
To aid in that effort; we prepared a few frequently asked questions about moving.
These are some of the most common questions we get asked on a regular basis.

Are you a licensed mover?

Yes, Pack and Save Moving Company is licensed by the state of Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TXDMV).
We are also registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Are my things insured?

Yes, we carry the standard coverage that as required by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Additional insurance can be purchased at your expense.

Are you accredited by the BBB?

Do you charge by the item or time?

We are strictly hourly on home moves. Per Item charge is for a single piece delivery.

Do items have to be disassembled?

The movers will dissemble and reassemble your furniture item.
Please request this when scheduling your move.
You can save time and money if you disassemble and reassemble yourself.
But our movers are experienced with many types of furniture requiring this service and we prefer to disassemble if we are going reassemble; this way we know where all parts are and go.

Can I leave items in dresser drawers?

Yes, but please remove all breakables. We throw a blanket over it to protect it and shrink wrap it for additional security so the drawers don’t fly open during the move.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, Pack and Save Moving Company offers a Senior Citizens discount.

How much does Pack and Save Moving company charge?

Everyone’s move is different.
Whether you’re moving from a third-floor apartment, home, office or just to load or unload a truck or pod; we’re confident we can serve you.
We prefer to speak to you by phone or meet for a walk-through; in order to give you the best estimated quote.

Do you sell boxes?

Yes, we sell quality boxes and packing supplies.

Is tipping required?

Although gratuity is very much appreciated but it is not required.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept all major Credit Cards with a 4% transaction fee. No extra fees for Cash and Zelle.

 

Can the movers call me prior to arrival?

Yes. The office or the moving crew will call 10 minutes prior to arrival at your specified location. We will call the day before to validate everything is still on schedule.

 

Do hanging clothes need to be boxed?

Yes. Hanged clothing must be boxed. It makes the truck loading process easier and boxes stack sturdy on each other. Bags don’t stack well.

What items will not be taken?

 Flammables, guns, ammunition and anything that cannot safely be handled by two people.

Do you load or unload rental trucks?

Yes. Our movers will work with you.

Are there hidden costs?

No.
Flat-rates are a set price.
Hourly rate: clock starts when we arrive and you sign the invoice and clock stops when your move is completed, and the invoice is signed again.

All other charges/fees will be communicated to you during scheduling and will be on the invoice.
